中医学认为,人体的各种生理过程是相互关联的,并且与周围的环境紧密相连。因此,它的核心逻辑是治疗健康问题的潜在根源,而不仅仅是处理表面的症状。在这个过程中,它同时增强身体的内部防御机制,提升身体维持最佳健康状态的能力

什么是舌诊?

我们知道这听起来有点不可思议,但这是真实的。针灸师受过专业训练,可以通过观察舌头来收集重要的健康数据,例如判断客户是否疲劳、是否有失眠问题,或者她们处于月经周期的哪个阶段。舌诊并非强制流程,它只是根据特定的健康诉求提供额外的诊断资讯。所以,张大嘴巴说“啊——”吧!

TCM naturally heals humans using three keys: acupuncture, herbal remedies and cupping therapy. Though commonly used together as a powerful holistic approach, each can be just as dynamic on their own.

TCM believes the processes of the human body are interrelated and connected to the surrounding environment. And so, it treats the underlying root of health issues rather than the symptoms on the surface--all while strengthening the body’s internal defenses and enhancing its ability to sustain optimal health.

What is tongue diagnosis?

We know it sounds wild, but it’s true. Acupuncturists are trained to read tongues to gather important health information, like if a client’s tired, has insomnia or where they’re at in their menstrual cycle. Tongue diagnosis isn’t mandatory, it just provides extra information based on certain health complaints. Open up and say ahhhh!

中草药是具有治疗特性的天然产物(大部分是植物的不同部位),它们治疗身心疾病的历史至少长达 5,000 年。它们是中医系统的关键一环,各种疗法旨在协同工作,以创造最快且最持久的效果

累积效应 vs. 即时效应

中草药具有累积效应,这意味着可能需要一段时间才能感受到效果——具体时间取决于你的病程长短以及症状的严重程度。使用西药时,效果通常较为立竿见影,但随着时间推移,你的身体会产生耐药性

草药的机制恰恰相反,效果是随着时间的推移而逐步显现并稳固的。这就是为什么持续、规律地服用草药是取得疗效的关键

剂量与服用时机

由于草药属于全食物——无法像医药界那样神奇地浓缩成一颗超级药丸——因此你服用的数量通常会比较多。在决定剂量时,应考虑:症状的严重程度、体重和敏感度。如果你希望彻底改变健康状况,较大且较频繁的剂量可能会是个好主意;如果只是为了维持健康,则不需要太大的剂量

  • 与食物并服: 草药在空腹时吸收最快,因为它们不需要与系统中已有的食物竞争,且草药不会刺激肠胃。但如果你只有在吃饭时才记得吃,那随餐服用也完全没问题
  • 与维生素并服: 通常两者是相容的。唯一的区别是草药适合空腹,而维生素通常需要胃里有食物
  • 与其他草药并服: 大多数情况下是允许的。我们甚至经常建议组合配方以获得不冲突的协同效应。但若遇到突发状况(如重感冒),最好停止服用日常补药,专心服用感冒配方

孕妇与哺乳期注意事项: 一般而言,大多数中草药并未在孕妇或哺乳期妇女身上进行过测试,因此我们认为最安全的做法是避免使用它们

Herbs are natural products (mostly plant parts) with therapeutic properties. Herbs have treated body + mind for at least 5,000 thousand years! They are part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) system, which includes acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and much more. The various modalities of TCM are intended to be used together to create the quickest and longest lasting results.

Cumulative vs. Immediate Effects

Herbs have a cumulative effect. So it can take time to feel results--how much time depends on how long you’ve felt the way you do and the severity of your symptoms. With pharmaceuticals, the effects are usually more immediate but over time your tolerance will build.

Herbs tend to be the exact opposite--the effects are actually felt over time. This is why consistency with taking your herbs is so key.

Dosage & Timing

Since herbs are a whole food--and can’t be magically condensed into a super pill like in the pharmaceutical world--the quantity you take is usually higher. When deciding whether to take a smaller or larger dose, consider these factors: the severity of your symptoms, your body weight and your level of sensitivity. If you’re looking to transform your overall health, a larger, more frequent dose could be a good idea for you. If you’re looking to maintain your health, you may not need as much of a dose.

  • Taking with food: It’s okay to take herbs on an empty stomach. In fact, herbs works fastest between meals when they’re not competing with what’s already in your system. Herbs won’t irritate the gut, and tend to assimilate faster on an empty stomach. Of course, if you only remember to take them while you’re eating or prefer to take them with food, that’s totally fine too.
  • Taking with vitamins: Generally, herbs and vitamins are compatible. The only difference is herbs do well on an empty stomach. With vitamins, usually you want something in your stomach.
  • Taking with other herbs: For the most part, yes. In fact, often it’s even recommended to combine formulas, especially those that have similar or non-competing effects. We’ll also give you some advice on when not to pair (like if you have a full-blown cold, it’s best to stop taking a daily tonic and just take a cold formula).

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: In general, most herbs have not been tested on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, so we feel it’s best to stay safe and avoid them.

Acupuncture is the gentle insertion of hair-thin needles at key points on the body.

These needles interact with the fascial network (our internal messenger system) to alter brain chemistry and stimulate internal responses, such as regulating hormones like cortisol, releasing pain-relieving endorphins, increasing circulation, reducing inflammation and more. These biochemical changes stimulate the body's natural healing abilities.

Do the needles hurt?

Our treatments are designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. When the needles are put in, it’s common to feel nothing at all. Sometimes, there’s a brief dull ache or warm sensation. Most people report how relaxed they are during the treatment, often falling asleep.

系统安全与从业资质

孕期特殊应用

与草药不同,我们强烈鼓励在怀孕期间进行针灸!它可以帮助缓解恶心、孕吐、下背痛、焦虑、失眠和产前紧张。产后进行针灸同样对缓解疲惫、平衡荷尔蒙水平及产后忧郁极具帮助

疗程频率与自我照护

虽然最好遵从医师的治疗计划,但一个通用的法则是:在处理健康问题的初期,频繁的治疗能让身体累积针灸的效果,并防止病情在两次疗程之间复发或恶化。通常,从每周至少一次开始在控制症状时最有效,一旦找到缓解方法,就可以减少频率。维持性保养通常建议每月一次

治疗后,建议避免进行剧烈运动数小时,因为这可能会抵消针灸带来的放松和减压效益。温和的运动,如瑜伽或散步,则是受到鼓励的。研究显示,养成一个新的照护习惯大约需要 3 周的时间——如果你错过了一天,不需要重新计算,只要从你停下来的地方继续接上即可!

System Safety & Practitioner Qualifications

Relatively few complications from using acupuncture have been reported. Complications can result from use of nonsterile needles and improper delivery of treatments. International health authorities (like the Malaysia MDA and U.S. FDA) regulate acupuncture needles as medical devices... requires that needles be strictly sterile, nontoxic, and labeled for single use by qualified registered practitioners only. All of our practitioners hold a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine and are officially registered with the Malaysia Ministry of Health (MOH)... participate in a rigorous, proprietary training program designed and delivered by XIA FENGLING ENTERPRISE.

Special Application During Pregnancy

Yes! In fact, we encourage it during pregnancy because it can help with nausea, morning sickness, lower back pain, anxiety, insomnia and pre-baby jitters. Acupuncture is also great after pregnancy for exhaustion, balancing hormone levels, depression and anxiety.

Frequency & Self-Care

It’s best to defer to your Healer’s treatment plan, but some general rules of thumb: coming more frequently in the beginning of addressing a health concern allows your body to build up acupuncture’s effects and prevent the condition from returning or getting worse between sessions. Oftentimes, starting with at least one session per week is most effective while getting symptoms under control, then frequency can be backed off once you find relief. Maintenance treatments are usually recommended at once per month.

It is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise for a few hours after your session, as it may undo the benefits of acupuncture. Gentle exercise, such as yoga or walking, is recommended at any point after your session. Research shows 3 weeks to create a habit - but the clock doesn’t restart if you miss a day, just pick back up where you left off!
